Hello, everyone! I am Mrs. Robin Greeson and I have been a teacher here at Paseo Hills since it opened in 1998. Some of you may know that I was a sixth grade teacher for ten years before becoming a reading specialist. If you know that, then you will also remember I LOVE ancient civilizations. This past summer my family and I got the opportunity to actually visit many of the ancient sites I had only studied about and seen in pictures.  I will be adding more pictures over time, so watch this site to see where I traveled!

In my current job as Reading Specialist, I get to work with students from almost every grade level on campus. I provide direct instruction to some students, while giving support to many of the teachers as well.  I love getting to know so many members of our Paseo Hills family!

One of the biggest misunderstandings about good readers is that they read fast. In actuality, good readers read fluently, with meaning behind their words.  It is more important to understand what you are reading than it is to break speed records, because we always read to understand!
